This summer’s CLA+ release is packed with enhancements that improve visibility, streamline workflows, and give you more control and clarity over complex construction deals.

These enhancements will be available in testing environments starting July 29th and will go live in production for all customers on August 12th.

Here’s what’s new:

Enhanced Data Visibility & Insights

More pertinent data is now surfaced on the Portfolio, Deal Overview, and Capital Stack pages—helping you find key information faster and make better-informed decisions without toggling between modules. Plus, you can now customize, save, and share your view to keep your focus on the insights that matter most to you and your team.

On the Portfolio page, you can now:

  • View 60 total columns of data, including 30 new fields such as funding details and credit metrics
  • Filter by 25+ attributes, including fund, deal risk rating, primary source type, and primary source lending program
  • Group and sub-group deals by deal status, property type, and more for easier pipeline management and analysis
  • Instantly view totals, averages, and weighted averages for applicable columns
  • Visualize your portfolio with an interactive map that makes it easy to spot geographic trends and property concentrations
    • Color-coded by property type
    • Boundary layers to identify geographic concentrations
    • And more

On the Deal page, you can now:

  • Get a clearer picture of each asset by uploading and viewing property photos in a clean, scrollable gallery
  • Access more credit and operational metrics, and control which are displayed and in what order
  • View Primary Source details to easily surface key loan terms and pricing for the main debt source tracked in the Capital Stack

Customize and save your preferred layout on the Portfolio or Deal pages so you always come back to the data that’s most important to you—making this robust dataset both powerful and easy to use. Learn More

Smarter, Streamlined Sources & Uses

  • Cleaner layout and consolidated navigation
  • Consistent terminology across the platform
  • Auto-balances in the Draw Module based on configured Sources and Uses
  • Full support for complex scenarios like New York deals and SBA lending

Together, these updates drive accuracy and efficiency during the draw process. Learn More

Participation & Syndication Allocations

Automate funding splits across multi-party deals to get real-time visibility into each participant’s:

  • Committed amount
  • Amount funded to date
  • Remaining balance
  • Upcoming obligations

This eliminates the need for manual tracking and ensures every draw is accurately allocated.

Support for Additional Property Types

Built now supports more nuanced data for less common property types. This allows you to see intelligent, applicable information across all assets in their pipeline. Learn More

User Experience Improvements for Draw Management

We’ve hyperlinked the Draw Name in the list view (just like Deals) and removed the separate Actions column for a cleaner, faster navigation experience.

Collaborative Ordering & Fulfillment Enhancements

Order & Manage Due Diligence Services Through Built — Now with More Order Types & Pre-Built Forms.

Built now supports additional order types in Collaborative Ordering, making it easier to manage all due diligence services in one place:

  • Appraisal
  • Appraisal Bid
  • Environmental Screen
  • Phase 1 ESA
  • Plan & Cost Review

These join existing types like Inspection, Title Endorsement, and Title Search to give teams a comprehensive set of diligence tools—all managed inside Built.

Plus, with Built-recommended order forms for each order type, your team can save time by using pre-built order forms to get key information needed for each order type. Learn More

Vendor Fulfillment via Partner API

Vendors can now fulfill Collaborative Orders directly via API, meeting them where they work and unblocking clients with API-based requirements.

Invoice Field for Easier Vendor Payments

An Invoice field has been added to the order form, enabling Built to support vendor payments, making it even easier to order and manage due diligence services.

More enhancements are already in the works, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. In the meantime, we hope these updates make your day-to-day experience with Built even better.
