Kate Manahan Chief People Officer

Kate Manahan is the Chief People Officer at Built Technologies, where she is responsible for partnering with business leaders to enable Built’s mission of becoming a Talent Destination and Residence for world-class talent. This includes the creation, evolution, and implementation of Built’s talent attraction, advancement, development, and retention practices. Kate brings extensive experience in creating infrastructure to hire, develop, and retain top talent at scale—coupled with a passion for building high-performing cultures.

Prior to Built, Kate spent 15 years at Bridgewater Associates, helping create and scale several of their talent programs, rooted in the firm’s notorious culture of radical candor and transparency. Throughout her career, she has participated in several Leadership development programs and forums, including the Atlantic Council Millennium Leadership Fellowship, and served on the Board of Five Frogs: A Non-Profit leadership development organization focused on empowering diverse, representative leaders. She is a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Communications and a minor in Women’s Studies.
