Summer 2025 Release Recap: What’s New in Construction Loan Administration

From performance upgrades to borrower experience enhancements, our latest updates to Construction Loan Administration (CLA) are all about helping you move faster, work smarter, and communicate more effectively.
These enhancements will be available in testing environments starting July 29th and will go live in production for all customers on August 12th.
Here’s a look at what’s new:
Keep Relationship Managers in the Loop with New Notifications
Relationship Managers can now be automatically notified during key draw milestones:
- A draw is submitted
- A draw is authorized by the borrower
- The RM is the designated internal approver
- A draw is declined
- A draw is approved by the Loan Admin
These notifications help reduce delays and ensure Relationship Managers stay informed — improving responsiveness and minimizing friction in the draw process. Learn More
Platform Performance You Can Feel
We’ve made significant backend performance improvements that translate to a faster, more stable platform. One major win: Loan and Grid page load times are now up to 94% faster. These updates lay the foundation for ongoing speed and reliability gains in CLA.
Bonjour, French Translations Now Live
For lenders serving Canadian borrowers, the CLA Borrower Portal now supports French translations. This enhancement helps you deliver a more inclusive, localized experience to your clients.
Usability Updates to Org Settings
We’ve improved the UI of the Organization Settings page, making it easier to use and more intuitive. Now, you can expand or collapse individual sections as needed, and you’ll notice more user-friendly language throughout. Learn More
More enhancements are already in the works, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. In the meantime, we hope these updates make your day-to-day experience with Built even better.
